Bosch Indonesia is giving away 2,000 Bosch Clear Advantage wipers for free as part of the “Berkendara Aman, #TenangAdaBosch” campaign.

Jakarta, 6 Juni 2024 – Bosch Indonesia, through its Mobility Aftermarket Division, has launched a driving safety campaign called "Berkendara Aman #TenangAdaBosch." This program aims to raise awareness about the importance of safe driving behavior and the need to monitor vehicle component conditions. One critical yet often overlooked component is the wiper, the only vehicle part directly contacting the windshield and affecting driver visibility.

To enhance awareness about the importance of wipers for four-wheeled vehicles, Bosch, as a provider of quality automotive parts, is kickstarting the campaign by giving away 2,000 Bosch Clear Advantage wipers, equipped with high-quality German technology, to online taxi drivers. Online taxis have become the second most popular transportation choice due to their convenience, speed, and safety. Bosch hopes these wipers will improve the driving safety of drivers with high daily driving intensity in various weather conditions.

Pirmin Riegger, Managing Director of Bosch in Indonesia, stated, "Given the driving conditions in Indonesia, Bosch continues to focus not only on providing the right and high-quality products but also on raising awareness among more drivers about vehicle components, particularly wipers, which are essential for driving safety. This campaign reinforces Bosch's commitment to the mobility aftermarket to provide superior parts that support driving safety continually."

Griselda Iwandi, Country Director of Mobility Aftermarket Bosch in Indonesia, added, "Bosch currently supplies nearly 90% of all vehicle technologies under the hood, from engines to other components, including wipers that Bosch has been marketing since 1926. Through the Berkendara Aman #TenangAdaBosch campaign, we want online taxi drivers to experience Bosch's quality parts firsthand, especially wipers that enhance driving performance in unpredictable weather. The Bosch Clear Advantage wipers, with German technology, provide optimal wiping performance with minimal friction on the windshield."

To participate in the giveaway of 2,000 Bosch Clear Advantage wipers for online taxi drivers, registrations can be made via a digital form accessible through Bosch Mobility Aftermarket's official Instagram account @boschautomotiveid from June 6 to June 10, 2024. Applicants must provide vehicle details and select a preferred workshop. Installation will be carried out for free by certified Bosch workshop technicians from June 13 to June 30, 2024. Partner workshops include Otoklix (with 5 locations), Warna Warni Ban (with 7 locations), YT Auto Service, and Auto Lux (each with 2 locations).

The event featured Rifat Sungkar, a safety riding practitioner who emphasized the importance of maintaining a vehicle in optimal condition and using quality products. Spare parts play a significant role in determining vehicle performance and lifespan.
