Jakarta, 18 February 2025 Bosch Indonesia through Mobility Aftermarket Division, officially introduced Bosch Car Service in Indonesia through joint launch of the first Bosch Car Service Flag Ship Workshop with PT XMotors International Group. The presence of Bosch Car Service aims to provide efficient and reliable car services for customers nationwide. This commitment is demonstrated through the signing of an MOU between Bosch Indonesia and PT XMotors International Group to initiate a new partnership with XMotors as the Master License Partner for BCS, to establish Bosch Car Service as a service network for high-quality car service in Indonesia, targets a network 20 outlets in 2025 and 120 outlets within next 5 years.

We are proud to embark on the journey alongside our strong partner PT XMotors International Group, to reshape the car service scene today in Indonesia by incorporating integrated vehicle technologies and expand our global network of independent workshops, today already at 13,000 Bosch Car Service across 150 countries,” said Márcio Coelho, Vice President of Bosch Mobility Aftermarket ASEAN & Oceania.

Located in Sunter, North Jakarta, the first Bosch Car Service offers a wide range of “bumper to bumper” services from mechanical repair to intricate electronics, engine system, safety features, comfort upgrades, transmission expertise, and other services and diagnostics. Bosch Car Service is ready to service all types of cars, both conventional and electric with international standard automotive service and genuine spare parts for a competitive positioning with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

Griselda Iwandi, Country Director of Bosch Mobility Aftermarket Indonesia, said, "Bosch Car Service is our commitment to providing integrated automotive services in Indonesia. All services will utilize genuine Bosch spare parts and be supported by the latest technology, ensuring accurate, transparent, and efficient diagnostics to guarantee vehicle safety and reliability. Through our partnership with PT XMotors International Group, we aim to expand our network so that more consumers can enjoy these exceptional services. We will be focusing on expanding Bosch Car Service with two different workshop models: Flag Ship Workshop that covers comprehensive bumper to bumper solutions and Fast Fit Workshop that will provide quick regular car services," Griselda told the media.

After opening the first Bosch Car Service Flag Ship Workshop today, we will open the 2nd Bosch Car Service Fast Fit Workshop in March 2025 as well. Additionally, Bosch Car Service has been authorized by CATL as a CATL High Voltage Battery Repair Centre in Indonesia. Together with Bosch Car Service, we aim to deliver improved services and contribute to the growth of the electric vehicle industry in the country," he explained.

The presence of Bosch Car Service is more relevant in Indonesia, driven by the rapid expansion of the automotive sector. In 2024, Indonesia recorded 633,218 car sales, accounting for 28% of the ASEAN market, while electric vehicle (BEV) sales surged from 17,051 units in 2023 to 43,188 units, according to Gaikindo data. Meanwhile, the global automotive spare parts market is projected to reach USD 510.31 billion by 2028, highlighting significant growth potential, based on research Exactitude Consultancy.
